Core Group
Eight seats, industry exclusive. Taylor and Drew hold two of them. No competitors in the room, so you can say the real numbers out loud. Facilitated by Drew, so everyone gets heard and everyone leaves with a plan.

Core Group
Eight founders and operators. One half day a month, in person. Plus a key to the building for every other day.
Prologue
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.Proverbs 27:17
Harbor is a room of givers. Men who understand the value of having good men around them, pushing each other toward their potential and giving back in the same way.
What it is
You walk in with what is actually on your plate. The deal you cannot close. The hire you have been avoiding. The number that does not add up. The thing at home that is bleeding into the work.
You leave with sharper thinking, and people who know enough to be useful between meetings.
The Core Group is the heart of it. The key to the building is the other half.
The last Thursday of every month, 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Coffee, breakfast and lunch provided, so you can skip all three that morning and leave fed and ready for the rest of your day.
What a seat includes
Eight seats, industry exclusive. Taylor and Drew hold two of them. No competitors in the room, so you can say the real numbers out loud. Facilitated by Drew, so everyone gets heard and everyone leaves with a plan.
A key to the building. Share a table, think out loud, work a problem through together. Relationships go deeper when you are around each other, not just once a month.
It does not end when the meeting ends. Members text, call, and drop by, and Taylor is available between meetings when you need to think something through. Your board stays with you when you walk out.
Who it is for
Most seats will go to operators doing 500 thousand to above 10 million, sitting on a prior exit, or three years in with real traction. The number matters less than whether you take the work seriously.

The covenant
You show up. Core comes before the calendar. Twelve meetings a year is the standard. Life happens and grace is given, but twelve is the bar.
You tell the truth in the room. About the business. About yourself.
Nothing said here leaves here. Ever. No exceptions.
This is what makes the group work. Without these three, it is just a lunch.
The clubhouse
Harbor sits at 1204 Kenesaw Ave, Suite D in Sequoyah Hills, minutes from downtown Knoxville and the Cherokee Boulevard greenway.

Questions
Dues are discussed on the culture-fit call. We would rather find out whether the room is right for you before either of us talks about money.
Eight, capped. Taylor and Drew hold two of those seats, so six are open. Seats are industry exclusive, meaning no two members compete with each other, so nobody has to guard anything. Above eight there is not enough time for everyone to be heard in a half day.
Monthly, in person, a half day each time. Twelve meetings a year is the standard. Life happens and grace is given, but twelve is the bar. Drew Griggs facilitates the room, and Taylor Bozarth is available for counsel between meetings.
You get a key. Full access to Harbor at 1204 Kenesaw Ave in Sequoyah Hills, every day, included with your seat. Members enter by smartlock around the clock, excluding events and workshops. Staff are on site Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Founders, operators, and owners running real businesses in and around Knoxville. Most seats will go to operators doing 500 thousand to above 10 million in revenue, sitting on a meaningful prior exit, or three or more years in with traction. The bar is less about the number and more about whether you take the work seriously.

For most members, yes. The Core Group is peer advisory and professional development, and the key is workspace. Both commonly qualify as ordinary and necessary business expenses. Talk to your accountant about your situation. We provide a clean receipt and a description of services rendered.

We are seating Core Groups now. Eight seats, and we would rather leave one empty than fill it with the wrong person.
