I work from a home office most days, but sometimes it's nice to get out of the house, change the scenery and just focus. Harbor Work Club has been perfect for that.
Every time I go, I've been able to sit down, get focused and knock out a lot of work without the normal distractions that come with working from home. It's also nice to bounce ideas off of other like-minded people.
If you work remotely, own a business or just need a professional place to work or meet with someone, I definitely recommend checking out Harbor Work Club.
Had the pleasure of stopping in and getting some work done here. Work Clubs are a fantastic way to get out of the house and be around like minded professionals. Harbor executes this with precision. Wifi was fast, environment was well decorated and it smelled fantastic. I'd highly recommend this if you're looking for a great work environment while traveling into town or to get out of your house. Great coffee shop around the corner too. Go up the staircase on the back of the building to get access.
As a solo entrepreneur, it can be difficult to get out of my own head, but Harbor offered a great change of scenery. Their modern but cozy office was perfect for an effective strategy session, and their digital white boarding tools really improved collaboration. Maybe it was the espresso I grabbed from the downstairs coffee shop, but I left feeling energized and motivated to work on next steps!
Harbor has all the modern necessities of a workspace but something elevates it. The founders are intentional and thoughtful in Harbor’s purpose, building community with other working professionals. I have been connected to new branches of highly-skilled and community-focused people in Knoxville that were previously unknown to me.

This is the first work space I've ever been to, and man did it feel like home. I guess I was expecting a cold, sterile, office-like setup, but this one had me feeling like I never left my house. Plus, there were snacks and coffee 😋 (and charger stations at every table, which was sweet).

You’re also only about a 10-minute walk from the riverfront if you want to step away, get some fresh air, and reset.
Parking was easy and convenient as well, with multiple access points around the building, which is something I really appreciate.

What does a Harbor membership cost?
$250 a month with no commitment, or $2,500 paid annually, which is two months free. There are no desk fees, meeting-room fees or setup fees.
Can I come in before I join?
Yes. Come take a tour first, and if it feels right you can work here for two weeks for $49. That $49 comes off your first month if you join, so the trial costs you nothing in the end. Cancel before the two weeks are up and you are not charged again.
What happens when the two weeks are up?
Nothing automatic. We keep no card on file and there is no subscription running, so there is nothing to cancel and no charge to watch for. When you pay for the residency we email you a $49 credit code straight away, and if you decide to join you enter it at checkout and it takes $49 off any Harbor membership. If you decide not to, that is genuinely fine and we would still like you around.
What are the hours?
Members have 24/7 smartlock entry, excluding events and workshops. Someone is on site Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Is there somewhere to take calls?
Yes. Private pods for calls and a bookable conference room for meetings, both included in membership at no extra charge.

Most people who join Harbor want a good room to work in. Some want something more than that.
A Core Group is 8 people who meet for one half day a month, in person, and who know what is actually going on in each other's businesses. Remote professionals and local owners, the kind who have nobody to ask the real question to. It is a standing commitment rather than a networking event, and it comes with a key to the room the rest of the month.
